HISTORY

Back in 1930, with a brilliant business idea, Mr Nazzareno Baioni founded the company bearing the same name, specializing in mechanical constructions for the production of agricultural machinery and equipment.
During the 60s the first generational change took place: the company management passed onto Nazzareno's sons: Osvaldo, Ulderico and Alberto Baioni. With this considerable passage the company activity began to transform, from the gradual abandonment of production of agricultural machinery to the start of the design and manufacturing of equipment for aggregates processing.

Over the 70s the Baioni company affirmed its brand in Italy by supplying several plants, especially in the south and by exporting the crushing and screening plants worldwide, essentially in Africa, in Asia and in the Arabic countries. The company consolidated its position in the market thanks to the quality of the supplied products, the attention for innovative technology and the use of top quality raw materials.
The knowledge of the most specific aspects of the sector and the ability to design following every customer requirement have made of Baioni company an important 'actor' both at national and international level in the aggregates crushing, screening and washing industry.

Since the 80s to today the process of growth keeps going: in 1984 the company expanded, by building a new industrial complex of 70.000 square meters (28.000 sqm indoors), with about 200 employees. The commercial line has covered about 50 countries around the world and Baioni products have become synonymous for reliability, efficiency, strength and quality standard. The expansion of the production capacity has given the opportunity to increase the offer, to meet ongoing customer demands. Baioni machinery and plants are being used for the production of quality aggregates of the construction industry of tomorrow – infrastructures and civil works such as roads, highways, ports, airports, dams – in Italy and abroad.

In the 90s Baioni entered the sector of the centrifugal separators with the launch of the high performance decanter for olive oil production, later used in mineral, industrial processes and in WWTP. The company invested in the field of recycled construction and demolition waste aggregate (C&D) through the design and construction of mobile units, mounted on wheels and on tracks.

Over the 2000s Ulderico Baioni's son, Pietro Baioni, has joined the business giving continuity to the family management, arrived by now to the third generation. The quality of the products and services offered by the Baioni company has rewarded even in times of crisis: decisive investments with the birth of the Environment Division. This Division has been dedicated to the design and manufacturing of water clarification and sludge treatment plants through last generation thickeners, polyelectrolyte dosing systems and sludge dewatering machines like centrifuges and filter presses. It should also be mentioned sand production equipment, dust suppression systems, waste treatment plants for contaminated soils through several remediation processes like soil washing, inertization and thermal desorption.
