NEW BAICOMBITRACK MIL CRUSHING AND SCREENING EQUIPMENT

NEW BAIONI MOBILE PLANT HELPS DRIVE PRODUCTIVITY AT SWISS QUARRY

Baioni has expanded its offering for the quarrying industry with the new Baioni BaicombiTrack MIL equipment. With this brand new tracked installation Baioni aims to offer 'combined groups' for the crushing and screening of quarry aggregates and for all quarry operators. Totally designed and commissioned last summer under specific requirements for a Swiss quarry owner, the BaicombiTrack MIL 1000S features a heavy-duty reversible impact crusher and a triple-deck vibrating screen W 500/3 for an overall otuput of 120/258 tonnes per hour. It allows extremely flexible productions for sand and gravel applications, also ideal for the treatment of washed components; max feed size up to 80 mm, the plant is capable of producing the following final selections: 0-4, 0-8, 0-22, 8-22, +22 mm but it is by acting hydraulically on the transversal belts that the plant allows for endless selections. The uniqueness of the unit is that the user can simultaneously decide to recycle the fine particles he does not use in sand by means of special on board by-pass valves. It can be set-up to produce an infinite combination of fractions dictated by the client’s needs (ex. 3 standard fractions + 1 recycling fraction; 3 on the same conveyor belt + 1 on a recycling conveyor belt, etc.). In this moment the customer is able to produce a 0-22 mm stabilized material. In case of non-crushable materials such as iron and / or steel are present in feed material, it is possible to adjust the speed of the main belt up to its minimum and there is a protected area where the operator can manually manage the machine safely. The ferrous material is selected by means of a magnetic belt iron remover.

BaicombiTrack MIL
The BaicombiTrack MIL combined crushing unit can process any type of rock. It is suitable to an extensive range of applications, operating with maximum safety and reliability and producing an excellent quality yield. Extremely flexible and versatile, it offers multiple possibilities to companies in the Public Works sector, owners of quarries and mines, as well as recycling and mineral processing businesses. It is built around a MIL hammermill, with a maximum output of 420 t/h. It is equipped with automatic, hydraulically-powered control of the impact surfaces, hydraulic lifting of the pistons and hopper.

The applications of the BaicombiTrack MIL 1000S plant are diverse. A variety of suitable screen surfaces are available for attaining different final grain sizes and for different feed material. The MIL hammer crusher is a traditional machine of Baioni crusher range, which has already been used in fixed plants, without any quality, performance and durability compromise. Moreover, spare parts and wear parts are always guaranteed. The BaicombiTrack MIL 1000S, like all other groups of the track-mounted BaiTrack range, is electrically driven. What attracts the client to Baioni is the dual drive choice, the 'infinite combinations and selections available' for each type of aggregate according to his needs – e.g. three selections +recycling, three selections on one belt+recycling, etc.

Special focus has been paid to the transport mass: the plant is divided into sub-units to allow rapid assembly and disassembly. Despite the size and volume with which it is manufactured, the BaicombiTrack MIL 1000S has standard dimensions for transport purposes and complies with road regulations. The new BaicombiTrack MIL 1000S added to the Baioni product portfolio is fully backed by Baioni's worldwide after sales service. The service contact is made available directly from the Italy headquarters to the customers so that they have efficient direct support when necessary. The Baioni service team is available for onsite assistance for installation, trouble-shooting, training and other customer needs. All track-mounted equipment features remote access to the PLC control systems installed on board to expedite customer assistance if required.

BaicombiTrack MIL: proven technology
The new Baioni unit has been designed, produced and delivered to a big Swiss company, which is very active in the road construction industry. They own several mobile crushing and screening installations, but among their fleet such a versatile machine was missing.

It can process mixed material up to 80mm and produce the following selections: sand 0-4 | production of 40-60 t / h, gravel and sand 0-4, 4-8, 8-22 mm | production of 100-150 t/h.
The customer is very pleased as, with a single investment, he can perform various processes and especially to recycle all lying granulometry with a high degree of profitability.

Even the maintenance and operation costs are reduced to a minimum as the people employed for the operation are at most two: a palist, for feeding processes and an operator, for the manual selection.
Assembly operations and start-up are fast, the displacement from site to site is easy, totally carried out by the customer, via radio remote control which has been approved up to 200 meters.

Eng. Lucchetti Massimiliano, Sales Manager at Baioni said: "The new group is an absolute novelty in the panorama of aggregates processing plants and is now a proven technology that has become a standard model in the range of electric track-mounted installations. It is a system that, despite its size, is quite compact thanks to the use of the sandwich-type recycle belt conveyor sandwich recycle tape mod. VHV with 45° inclination that allows to significantly reduce the operating spaces, without compromising performance".
The BaicombiTrack machines composing the group are the following: a feed belt conveyor for the screen, a magnetic separator, a vibrating screen W500.150/3, a sandwich-type recycle belt conveyor mod. VHV, a hammer crusher mod. MIL1000S , 3 discharge conveyors, a dust suppression system with water nebulization, electric plant and generator set.

In the right place
BaicombiTrack MIL 1000 is equipped with an easy and intuitive control panel, PLC logic with standard touchscreen for all users and an automatic control system for production data, for energy consumption, reporting, efficiency monitoring, non-compliance recording, automatic submission of daily reports, an automatic system that provides detailed information about the operation of all the plant, including fuel consumption, even in different operation modes.
