MOBILE CENTRIFUGE DEWATERING UNIT - CENTRIPOD

Designed to require minimal maintenance and quick and immediate use in the recycling industry, the CentriPod sludge dewatering system houses two standard, 6.1 meter stacked ISO containers and can be transported to any truck. The system is pre-assembled and pre-wired at the factory and can easily adapt to any application.
A new PLC designed directly by Baioni for the CentriPod includes a control panel with a full touch-screen graphic display, which allows full visual control of the speed of the centrifuge, of the feed flow and of the polymer pump, with the closed loop control allowing a continuous polymer feed from zero to 2,000 liters per hour. The PLC is supplied with a webcam connection to control the different areas of the CentroPod, thus allowing users to intervene as soon as possible on any problems. Control panel with PLC logic is designed entirely by Baioni and for automated management and control of the separation process for all BaiDec centrifugal separators, both for fixed and mobile set-ups. All functions are controlled by PLC with a touch screen keyboard managing:

- start, check and final stop of the cycle

- drive of the screw and of the centrifuge drum by means of an inverter

- automatic washing stages

- pumps control

- polyelectrolyte tank control

- polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing units

Polipreparators or polyelectrolyte preparation and dosing stations supplied by Baioni are designed for the preparation of a solution when processing the BaiDec centrifugal decanter to easy the 2 or 3-phase separation. The solution is prepared by mixing the right percentage of liquid polymer and/or powder with water. The evacuation screw conveyors supplied by Baioni are used for transporting and evacuating the dehydrated sludge leaving the BaiDec decanter centrifuge to the collection point. Available in versions with "U" or "V" section, inside which there is a conveyor screw made of a continuous stainless steel spiral blade coiled around a shaft. Depending on the discharge needs, the screw conveyors (or auger conveyors) can be fixed or supplied with a tilting system, and can be mounted horizontally or inclined.
