HYDROCYCLONE UNITS FOR SAND RECOVERY - GRF
The GRF hydrocyclone unit has been designed for the recovery of fines contained in wastewater coming from aggregates washing plants. Moreover it is able to resolve the various problems connected to the washing operations:

- recovery of approx. 90% of all sands even the fines (till about 63 microns).
- almost total elimination of all impurities (silt and clay).
- moisture in the recovered sand is less than 15% approx.
- substantial reduction of the solids in the wastewater, which would overload the water treatment plant.
The GRF hydrocyclone unit for sand is mainly composed of: an horizontal centrifugal pump driven by electric motor complete with pulleys and belts, an hydrocyclone lined with wear-resistant rubber, the dewatering screen is operated electromechanically with a counter-rotating mass, the vibrating deck is fabricated with interchangeable polyurethene inserts, a skid mounted supporting structure complete with inspection platforms, handrails and stairs.
